Students had the opportunity to attend workshops with two outstanding performers yesterday.

Donna Vivino is a brilliant performer, teaching artist, and director who is well known for playing Elphaba in Wicked on Broadway. Focusing on monologue work, Ms. Vivino encouraged students to be specific about the person they are addressing and put in the imaginative work to fully flesh out the given circumstances of their performances.

They also attended a headshot and resume workshop led by Baize Buzan, an accomplished actor across the mediums of Theater, Film, and TV. She was recently seen as Scout Finch in To Kill A Mockingbird on Broadway, and has worked on various on-camera projects such as Chicago Fire and Being the Ricardos.

Students were then pulled out into the hallway to have their very own headshots taken by TA Abby!
