Yesterday Acting Intensive students attended workshops on Ensemble Building & Improv, designed to get them to trust their fellow actors, feel comfortable with being vulnerable, and really listen and respond to one another as a team. In their Ensemble class they were taught by David Deblinger, an award-winning actor and co-founder of Labyrinth Theater Company. David introduced an exercise where one-by-one they were to stand up in front of the rest of the class, stand in silence for 6 seconds, tell a story about a gift they received, and then sing a bit of a song.
