Forensic Science students were treated to not one, but two guest speakers today. Jeff Facinelli is a Battalion Chief for the New York City Fire Department, and gave a fantastic lecture that included the importance of preparation, routine, and mental fortitude in his profession. The students then had breakout sessions where they studied ballistics, chemistry, and pathology, before reconvening for a lecture from Matthew Cannistraci, who is a Criminalist III at the NYC Office of Chief Medical Examiner.
